    again (1,500 came last

    year). Pray for growth and

    salvation of many seekers

    they work with; for interns

    and teams preparing to

    come; for more full time workers.

    2 Pray for their MAF-Ecuador ministryoperators permits have onlybeen issued for Ecuadorian

    pilots since early December.

    The Rogers plan furlough in

    September but may have to

    move it up to this month if

    they arent flying.

    4 Following 4 weeks ofevangelistic discussionswith primarily Muslim

    students, a gifted speaker

    that appeals to Muslim

    students has been invited to

    come this month to do two

    Bible and Koran comparison

    talks. Pray for this outreach.

    5Praise the Lord--only 9

    completely unreached

    people groups remain of the

    32 ethnic tribal groups in

    their country; Pats disease

    is in remission and she has

    much less pain; for 100

    new believers as a result of

    Christmas celebrations.

    8 Pray as the SanyoGrace Churchcongregation comes up with

    a building plan that meets

    the budget; that the church

    would continue to grow

    in numbers and spiritual

    maturity; for replacements

    during Bridgmans furlough June 09-10.

    6 In 08, 27 medicalexpeditions (with 2foreigners and 2 translators)

    went to remote parts of

    Russia to bring the love of

    God to 4,400 unreached

    people living in desolate

    areas. Pray for the five

    teams going out in April. Ask for more laborers.

    7 They ask us to pray forfellow facilitators locatedin another closed country.They are partners who work

    with various organizations

    and live in extremely difficult

    circumstances. Ask for health

    and safety as they engage in

    this war torn nation.

    9 March 16-26, 8students from Tsukubaand Chuo Universities go to

    the Philippines for a work-

    camp among one of the

    ministries to the poor. The

    students are not yet believers.

    Pray for impact as they see

    the reality of Christ in lives.

    10Ask that God will

    continue to speak

    to their students through

    classes, discipleship and

    free time; for an appropriate

    warehouse to purchase and

    for the funds needed; for the

    organization of events from

    now to June for Christian youth.

    13 Mokhtar is fromAlgeria, a Muslimwho came to Christ

    watching their satellite TV

    programs. He had a dream

    and saw Jesus. Pray for

    Mokhtar and many like him

    who are meeting Jesus. Pray

    for enough believers there to start a church.

    12 The village ofHateka, just outsideAccra, now has clean waterthanks to HCJB Global and

    partner ministry Theovision

    International. Pray the new

    well will be just one step in

    the process of helping the

    Hateka physically and spiritually.

    14 A sophomore (son ofmissionaries) at RiceU plans to be a witness for

    Christ in a closed country.

    Pray those in campus

    ministry would help him

    grow in the Lordthat by

    Gods strength and guidance

    they help students like him to thrive.

    15Elaine reports she

    has served with

    CEF for 40 years and has

    recently retired as a full-

    time staff person. She will

    continue as a volunteer in

    the International Ministries

    at Headquarters, serving the

    Spanish-speaking CEF family.

    evaluating teens responses

    and their children; for her
