2009 San Antonio Stock Show Annual Art Contest The art students of Harper High School represented their school beautifully again this year at the San Antonio Stock Show’s annual art contest. Over 500 pieces of art, from central Texas private and public high schools, were submitted. Once again, a Harper student, Junior - Morgan Boggan, brought home a 1st place award for her pencil drawing titled “Designated Drivers”. Senior, Tana Radtke, won a 2nd place for her pencil drawing titled ‘Leanin’ Toward the win”. Additionally, 3rd place awards were earned by Alicia Ferguson, Ernesto Ramirez, Brandon Morris, Autumn Flores, TK Watson, Adela Moore, Robbie Mounce, Tommy Morris, Anthony Villegas, and Jennifer Scozzari. Miss Boggan’s win entitles her to a free art workshop opportunity. Schreiner University and the Cowboy Museum of Art put on the one week workshop where the students are given hundreds of dollars of free art materials and free instruction from renowned professional artists.

The art students of Harper High School represented their school beautifully again this year at the San Antonio Stock Show’s annual art contest.  Over 500 pieces of art, from central Texas private and public high schools, were

submitted.  Once again, a Harper student, Junior - Morgan Boggan, brought home a 1st place award for her pencil drawing titled “Designated Drivers”.  Senior, Tana Radtke, won a 2nd place for her pencil drawing titled ‘Leanin’ Toward the  win”.   Additionally, 3rd place awards were
