Village of Palatine. IL Currently serving a fifth four-year term. Chief executive officer of a municipality established in 1866 with a population of almost 70,000 and yearly budget of S121 million. Responsible for delivery of Fire, Police, Water, Road, and Sewer Services Secured 4.7 million funding for senior housing. Created neighborhood based policing program, encouraged growth in business and residential tax base through annexation Abated 2.1 million in real estate taxes. Implemented aggressive reconstruction and enhancement of 2 major roadways and all major entrances. Designed the new train station in revitalized downtown.
