Child Development Centers of the Bluegrass Official Rules/Regulations Raffle – September 2009 1. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 8/13/09, an Official raffle ticket may be purchased from Child Development Centers of the Bluegrass (“CDCB”) or one of its representatives for $10.00 per ticket. Ticket price is non-refundable. All tickets will be entered into a drawing as noted below; purchase of a ticket does not guarantee winning of any prize. Only official raffle tickets with designated ticket number and CDCB logo will be entered into the drawing. 2. RANDOM DRAWING: Winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about 9/16/09 from among all eligible entries received. Decisions of the judges are final. Potential winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or USPS mail. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. 3. PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): (1) Grand Prize – a 7 day & 6 night stay at a 5-bedroom private home in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Reservation required for use of the home, and the mutually agreeable scheduled use must fall between the dates of Nov. 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. There must be at least two guests over the age of 30 years old staying in the home throughout the use of the property. Prize must be taken within dates specified by CDCB or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Prize does not include any transportation costs; winner is responsible for all affiliated costs for travel to and from the home on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Use of the home and regular use of associated utilities are included. Winner is responsible for costs of any additional services requested or affiliated travel or vacation activities. Winner must pay refundable $500 damage deposit and will be responsible for any damages to home and must sign a contract agreeing to such with the owner of the home. Winner will abide by all rental policies as set forth in the contract from the home owner. ARV: $4,000. (2) 2 nd Place Prize – Dinner for two at ten area restaurants. Gift cards and/or gift certificates will be provided to the winner to cover the average cost of dinner for two at each of ten restaurants. Restaurants include, but may change prior to final awarding of prize at the discretion of CDCB: Azur, A la Lucie, Abuello’s, P.F. Chang, Saul Good, Portofino’s, Bonefish Grill, Carraba’s, Baker’s 360, School. Gift certificates/cards may not be exchanged for cash. Gift cards and certificates must be used by the expiration date noted on each or winner forfeits the use of such card or certificate. ARV: $850. (3) 3 rd Place Prize – Keeneland Clubhouse table for six (6) including 6 clubhouse guest passes, food served at table and non-alcoholic beverages; prize also includes 6 outside box passes for a designated grandstand box. Tickets are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash and are subject to all terms, conditions and restrictions of use as established by issuer. If races are delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, winner will not receive cash or other substitution for tickets, but tickets may be subject to Keeneland’s standard rain check policies and procedures established by issuer. Transportation is not included. Prize must be taken within dates specified by CDCB or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. ARV: $400. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed above.

4. GENERAL RULES: Void wherever prohibited by law. No substitution, cash

redemption or transfer of prize by winner permitted. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All materials submitted become the property of CDCB and will not be returned. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected, time permitting, at the sole discretion of CDCB. CDCB reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to CDCB to use any winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release and hold CDCB and the directors, officers, employees and assigns of each, harmless against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs and/or liability arising out of use of prize or attendance of a game. Winner is solely responsible for the actions of guests who accompany winner to the VIP Experience. By accepting prize, winner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CDCB and all prize providers for any and all claims, liability, damages, costs or expenses arising from the actions of winner’s guests during the use of such prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. CDCB is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prizes, or in the administration of the promotion.
