For Sale• 2008 Ford Ranger EV conversion• Worked on by Ram and Vivek Mohan, Plano TX• The 2008 Ford Ranger 2dr truck was originally converted at a professional sport car conversion shop in Pennsylvania before a move to Texas• A lot of work was done on the EV with the help of the local EV club (North Texas EAA).• To start with, it had 40 3.2v LiFePO4 batteries from China HiPower for some time but changed to 12v AGM type batteries.• The truck has less than 500 miles in total and basically used it to test different battery technologies.• Truck is garaged and in excellent shape.• Vivek’s father Ram has a traveling job so the truck has been sitting in a garage for over a year with nothing done on it. And Vivek is in Illinois on an internship this summer with SAIC (formerly Patrick Energy Services)• The entire conversion was recorded• Documentation is available for anyone from EV club to look at and use it• They would like to offer to sell to whomever is interested in it.• Please pass the word, and contact Ram directly.• They plan to list it in EVTradingPost shortly.
