Glass Cockpit Displays.  Wide viewing angles, clear sunlight

readability, and the highest resolution (1024 x 768) in their class.

PFD/MFD Reversionary Mode.  PFD and engine data can be

transerred between displays.

Dual Nav/Comm/WAAS/GPS.  Dual integrated radio modules

provide WAAS-certied, IFR oceanic-approved GPS; VHF navigation with

ILS; and VHF communication with 16-watt transceivers and 8.33-kHz

channel spacing.

Traffic.   The optional KTA 870 Traic Advisory System (TAS) will

automatically display other transponder-equipped traic (Mode A/C

and S) within 40 nm.

Terrain Mapping.  Includes topographic shading, relative terrain

mapping and obstacle clearance.

TAWS-B.  The optional Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS-B)

provides aural and visual warnings and cautions o impending terrain.

Features include: excessive rate o descent, negative climb rate and voice

callout within 500’ o nearest runway elevation.

AHRS. Attitude Heading & Reerence System (AHRS). Solid-state system

capable o in-fight and on-the-move initialization.

Three-Axis Magnetometer.  Provides ull three-axis magnetic

eld inormation in all fight attitudes.

Enhanced Safety Features.  Standby pitot/static instruments

(airspeed, altimeter, attitude indicator).

EIS.  Engine Indication System electronically displays and monitors all

critical engine, uel, vacuum and electrical inormation providing both

graphical and aural exceedence alerting.

ADC.  The solid-state, digital air data computer computes TAS, CAS, VSI,

 TAT, wind direction and velocity or display.

Weather. The Flight Information System (FIS) supplies XM Satellite Weather

and Radio services via the GDL69A datalink (subscriptions optional).

Digital Audio Panel.  Includes three Comm, two Nav, Pilot/Crew

Isolation intercom capability, DME, ADF, HF, Satphone, entertainment and

clearance recorder playback capability.

GFC 700 AUTOPILOT. At eye level, at te top o te console,

rest te controls or te Garmin GFC 700 ully integrated ligt control

system. Wit innovative eatures including airspeed old, overspeed

protection, pitc old and coupled VNAV, te GFC 700 provides

precise lateral and vertical guidance and capabilities ormerly available

TAkEOFF AND CLIMB.  Climbing out o Asheville, the system tracks your position relative to airports along your route o ight, Class B, C and D Airspace, MOAs, and

other restricted or prohibited areas. You can also monitor your progress as you pass waypoints you’ve included in your ight plan, including intersections, VORs, holding

patterns and fxes that comprise approaches at your destination. In addition, several key terrain graphics may also be simultaneously displayed. The result is increased

situational awareness and added saety during this phase o ight.

ENROUTE WEAThER.   You cruise smoothly along, staying one step ahead o conditions with the optional XM Weather service. In addition to the unctions you’ll

likely use most oten – textual and graphical METARS, TAFs, NEXRAD radar, and graphical winds alot – you also get lightning, cloud tops, reezing levels, and

TFRs, as well as many other textual and graphical weather products. All this pilot-riendly inormation is automatically sent to your aircrat via the XM Satellite System and

Te rugged cargo pod is one o te Caravan’s most popular

options and is available on all models except te Ampibian.

It provides an additional 111 cubic eet and 1,000 pounds o 

useul storage space in our separate loading areas to prevent

weigt siting. Its wide loading doors acilitate easy access.

TURBINE ENGINE

Wit over 300 million total igt ours to its credit, Caravan’s

Pratt & Witney PT6A-114A engine as a sceduled overaul

interval o 3,600 ours and a ot section inspection at 1,800

ours. Te cowling can be completely removed in less tan

15 minutes, exposing te engine and accessories or exceptional

ease o maintenance.

DURABLE LANDING GEAR

Te main gear is a massive steel tube lined directly to te

uselage. Its lexible design is perect or grass, gravel and

even roug airstrips. Te nose gear is engineered to absorb
