• Partnered with nonprofit called Discover Technology– Takes old computers and upgrades hardware and software, then
donates to organizations building their computer labs
– Recently conducted upgrades in support of Katrina relief activity
• Will bring Discover Technology computers to Booker T. Washington and teach students how to upgrade them– Enables students to learn about computers
– Provides volunteer manpower for Discover Technology
• Alumni members will also speak to students about their careers
