High country demands high standards, that’s why we’ve built the phenomenally light Model 700™ Titanium. Weighing only5 1⁄2 pounds long action, 5 1⁄4 pounds short action, and 6 3⁄8 pounds magnum – it’s the ultimate rifle for high-altitude spot andstalk hunting. The key to its feathery feel starts with a titanium receiver that’s impervious to weather (drilled and tapped formounts). Titanium delivers incredible strength, but at a lighter weight than steel. Complementing the receiver is a bolt featuring spiral-cut flutes and a skeleton handle – both of which further reduce the overall weight. Finally, the stainless-steelbarrel features a trim mountain-style contour (non-magnum calibers only) and is fitted in an ultra-lightweight, carbon-fiber composite stock reinforced with aramid fibers and fitted with sling swivel studs.

We’ve gone the extra step to redesign some of our standard, premium-grade stocks for a shorter length-of-pull – then fitted them tosome of our finest, most proven rifles and shotguns. All Youth rifles we make are counter-balanced with a shorter 20" (22" on long actionofferings) barrel and all Youth shotguns with a 21" (20" for youth deer gun) barrel to keep them from becoming muzzle-heavy while alsoretaining effective ballistics. Two centerfire rifle choices are available.
