When we started planning this conference way back inOctober 2003 I had high expectations of what wecould offer members. I’ll be candid – the conference hassurpassed what I was hoping for and I have mycommittee members to thank.
Everyone went full throttle and we’ve ended up with agreat program, the best ever sponsorship participationand excellent registration numbers. Special thanks to Karen Byrne, Geoff Shields, Annette Pohle, SandraTaylor, Catherine Fleming and Pat Ristich.
Our keynote speaker is Dr. Roberta Bondar, a trueCanadian hero who has excelled in so many fields. She’llshare her observations with us in her talk – PersonalFulfillment through Growth, Change and Challenge.
On a personal aside I want to say this is a qualityassociation with much to offer members. I’m proud tohave chaired this Halifax event and urge you to get involved in your Association – it’s rewarding and fun to help shape the directionof the Association.
I pass the conference over toyou – enjoy and learn.
