UX Strategy Wireframing Prototyping
Presentation
My assignment was to design a website for a new product launch. The features of the new product - a high-quality chair for gamers - should be made visible and tangible for the user on the site.
A special feature of the site is the configurator, which allows the user to customize the color and shoulder patches of the chair. The site also has a shop connection and of course, the site should be available on all common devices. Time was scarce and so I developed initial ideas for the product staging in an agile and powerful team and promptly "poured" them into wireframes. I quickly developed a clickable prototype, which was further developed iteratively. I presented the Prototype and a light documentation directly to a happy client.

Telekom Innovation Laboratories asked me to rethink and refine their existing System- Security-Manager. A web-app for small- and medium sized enterprises, that monitors the existing system, detects vulnerabilities and provides solutions for a more secure enterprise IT.
Together with a fellow designer we managed to rebuild and optimize the web-app by analyzing the given structure, finding problems, defining solutions and focussing on main user tasks.
Now, there is an optimized system- evaluation process, a dashboard to all functionalities and comprehensible user- system-interactions.

Viessmann, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of efficient, reliable and affordable heating and solar products, needed a revamp of their corporate website. To let people easily find and discover products that fits their needs best, we developed an easy to use product finder. We analyzed the then current state of the website, as well as the competitor’s websites developed user journeys and detected pain points. We frequently presented our work and findings in workshops. We interviewed representatives of each department and talked about their needs and how they would like their department to be represented on the website. At the end of each of the interviews we translated our findings, by live wireframing an initial structure of the respective section on the website.
By establishing a modular and scalable content system, we made it easy for the employees to curate their content and made it extendable for future products and projects

The leading solar technology manufacturer asked us to revamp their corporate website. It should represent the company’s products, applications and services aligned with the new brand- and product strategy, in a user centered and engaging way. We had to refresh the website's information architecture and interaction design. By rethinking the user journeys, thru the wide range of photo-voltaic installations and related services, we redefined the overall user experience on the website.
A key feature is a new tool. The solar-calculator. It computes required installation costs and accumulates the amortization of the photovoltaic construction. In the result, it displays the information in a vivid, informative and easy to catch way.

We created an interactive iPad App for the South African artist Robin Rhode. The task was to transfer one of his last exhibitions „paries pictus“ to the iPad, so that it becomes available to everybody who owns an iPad. Rhode first spattered the walls of the Lehmann Maupin Gallery, NYC, with various stencils and illustrations and then invited 37 first-graders from the South Bronx to fill in the blanks with a selection of giant crayons.
We have created an App which allows the user to do exactly that, to paint in pictures with crayons. The app is for people of any age.

To improve the online presence of one of the largest telecommunication companies in Germany, we decided that navigating their vast product and service catalogue should become easier, faster and more pleasant. Aiming at providing better user guidance, we selected four different navigation-mechanics and quickly found the best solution. We created a new fly-out-menu which now displays products and different areas of the portal in a more vivid and emotional way thanks to larger product images and a new content arrangement. By clicking on the icons at the bottom of the panel one can directly jump to special manufacture pages within the portal. We also reworked the section-landing pages with the focus on user friendliness and usability.
By changing the layout and reorganizing the content, we were able to make it easier for the user to find products, information and support.

Allianz Insurance wanted to develop a new method for marketing their products. So we came up with the idea of an digital insurance assistant. The iPad App will be able to calculate and suggest plans and services based on the needs and personal situation in life. Therefore, it contains several complex calculators that select a final product perfectly tailored upon the user's need and visually presented in extremely clear and comprehensible manner.
People will understand better which insurance and options they need and which one they don’t need; as a result, they feel they have received trustworthy advice. At the same time, the insurance assistant will have an easier time selling products.
