Now for a sad note. lt is regrettable hat Iannounce he death of one of our Mem-bers. The memberwas HarryOhira.Harrystarted n the red classprior o thisone andwas a student n every class since then.He made sure hat he showedup at al l theIntro nights and the beginningof al l the,c lasses. As such, the Board had madeHarrya Lifet imeStudentof the club. Harrywas in his ate70'sand had a lot of energyand made his presenceknown. We wil lmiss Harry and the deliciousgoodies healwaysbrought. His nephewwrote us an dtold us that Harrywas buried n Hawaiiwherehe was born and in his memorial sthe Western Star Vest that Harry wasproud to wear and own. We wil l missHarry but he is now at that Grand Ho-edown in the sky looking down a t us withG ino.

This year we haveDarrenGallina calling for us Saturday,Sep-tember29 at 7:30 at TempleUnited Meth-odistChurch ll l1 JuniperoSena at l9th,entranceon Beverly Street)and at the fairon Sunday.We will needvolunteers o helpus out at the Folsom Fair, aswell as, he fol-lowing Sunday, October 7 for the CastroStreetFair. We will be recruitins for theOrange 001Class.Our plans are going forward for the 20thAnniversary Fly-in in March 2002. Thecallers will be Anne Uebelacher andSaundra ryant. All eventswill takeplaceat Holy RedeemerChurch and Live OaksSchoolon Diamond Street. We will needyour help in many areas ncludinghousingout of town guests or a few nights.A sadnote now. Harold Little one of thisyears Board member and active memberdied n June. I know I will missHaroldandhis sparklingpersonalityand his enthusias-tic dancing. IN MEMORTA]VIHarold died quietly in June after sufferingfor a year. He died of Lou Gehrig'sdisease.We will miss Harold. He was also a mem-ber of Times Squares efore he moved toSanFrancisco.Harold was in the infamousOrange 90 classand was very active n theclub. Haroldserved n the Boardof Direc-tors or the 97-98,98-99, nd 00-01years.In the 97-99 years,Harold was Secretary.Haroldwas alwaysvisible and was very en-thusiastic hen t came o dancing.We wil lmissall that.
