Idea for the POSTER …

The DICOM Correction Proposals capture the details of the changes in the different parts of the standard.

Idea is to Study the evolution in DICOM by applying n gram analysis on the Correction Proposals & thus identify patterns & visualize trends.

• 1294 Correction proposals

• 1069 excluding cancelled proposals

• Information from the DICOM standard’s page

• Maximum no of correction proposals – Part 3• Zero correction proposals on Parts 9, 13, 20 ( Part 9 & 13 - retired & Part 20 is relatively new)

Year 2008 has seen lot of changes on Part 3. Could be because of introduction of some new concept, yet to find out.
