It will take you six days to have it cleaned and ready for anyone staying overnight.This room will stay clean until the holidays so clean it now.

Guest Room

Day Wash the sheets and remake the bed.

Day Dust the walls and woodwork with a micro�ber mop and mopdampened with a spray bottle of water.

Day Clean all glass and windows with a dampened blue micro�ber.

Day Dust the furniture using a large looped micro�ber cloth and a small spritz of furniture polish.

Day Dust or wash the radiators and baseboards. If there’s a large dust buildup use a bucket of hot water and micro�ber cloth.

Day Vacuum the entire room. If you have extra time, move the furniture and “deep vacuum” using the crevice tool to edge the carpet.

Extra Touch Fresh �owers make a warm welcome. Add a few bottles of water on the night stand and a well-chosen magazine or two.

Dining RoomThis room will stay fairly clean until your event. It will take seven days to prepare this room for the holidays.

Day Dust the walls and woodwork with your micro�ber mop and spray bottle of water. This will remove the dust and cobwebs.

Day Clean all lighting and windows with a damp blue micro�ber cloth.

Day Dust all furniture with a micro�ber cloth and light furniture polish. Spray the cloth with the polish, not the furniture.

Day Wash and organize all the dishes you will use until they sparkle. Use the dishwasher for a faster, more thorough result.

Day Wash and iron table cloths and napkins you will use. Check for spots and stains before putting them in the washing machine anda pre-treat if necessary. Iron using water scented with a light essential oil.

Day Wash and polish the silverware you will use.

Day Vacuum rugs and wash the hardwood �oors. Use your edging tools to get into tight places around the furniture.

Essentials you’ll need for the Kitchen

Micro�ber clothScrubbing sponges

Day Clean out the refrigerator and wipe all shelves and door trim Use anall-purpose cleaner and a micro�ber cloth.

Day Clean the oven interior, e�ortlessly: cover the bottom with baking soda and spray it with white vinegar. After 8 hours or overnight, wipe clean.

Day Clean the inside of your microwave. Heat some lemon juice in a bowl to soften any food buildup for easy removal without chemicals. Remove burnt on food with a scubby sponge.

Day Clean out kitchen drawers. Treat cabinet exteriors to a wood feeder.

Day Clean your co�ee maker with a co�eepot cleaner or white vinegar. Clean other small appliances like the toaster, mixer, crock pot, etc as needed. Use a scrubby sponge and an all-purpose cleaner.

Day Run all cooking utensils through the dishwasher so they will be clean and ready for the holiday meal.

Day Focus on your guests, knowing your home sparkles!

Deep clean your kitchen prior to your event, since this is where everyonealways ends up! And some guests may need to use your kitchen to �nishpreparing the dish they brought.
