1. Equipment made from proven standardised sub-assemblies to suit customer's requirement. It also guarantees that even if the product
line changes, machine remains useful and if necessary, can be re-arranged.
- A single stage machine that can be made two stage or of more stages.
- Drying tunnels can be extended for higher capacity.
- Single unwinds and rewinds can be replaced by turret or flying splice automatic ones.
- Coating units can be extended and modified to some extent for additional coating methods.
- Control of tension of the web throughout the machine, even for thin unsupported flexible materials.
- Dry Laminating and Wet Laminating units can be added.
- Constant up gradation and feedback from satisfied customers all over the world.
- Conform to safety standards of Switzerland and Germany for handling solvents.
2. Unwinds : Single, turret or fully automatic with brakes or drive. Safety chucks prevents accidents and shaft can be changed in very short
time. Automatic tension control, edge guiding, reel loading and conditioning units can be installed. Operation with cores of different
diameters possible.
3. Rewinds : Most features similar to unwinds. Rewind drive by AC motor, tension control by dancer roll or load cell. Tension setting, actual
tension indication, automatic taper tension control etc., suitable for extensible and non-extensible materials. Lay on roll for good winding.
4. Coating Heads : Choice of universal or special coating units. Infeed draw roll couple and wet laminating unit can be integrated into the
coating unit. Mobile coating trolley and speedwell impression roll system can be given. Change from direct to reverse coating method.
Choice of meyer bar, air-knife, smoothing roll etc. available. Specialized systems such as fountainless or pressurized chamber doctor also
available.
High precision components allow application of even coating across width and along length so that thinner coatings can be applied, saving
heat energy and coating costs.
5. Drying Tunnels : Number of elements can be decided. Each element has fan, heat exchanger and temperature control. Forced airflow
warrants primary explosion proofing. Hot air can be fully exhausted or partially or fully re-circulated to save on energy consumption. Design
based on mass transfer, heat transfer, specific dryer capacity, number of nozzles etc. Choice of electric, hot oil, gas. Choice of maximum
temperature required. Bearings outside tunnel.
6. Dry Laminating/Cooling station : At the exit of drying tunnel, choice of 1, 2 or 3 cooling cylinders. Excellent heat transfer characteristics.
