O�cial opening ceremony of the exhibition welcomed honorary guests.

Taras V. Kutovyi, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, expressed his admiration concerning the exhibition: “For four days the visitors will dive into the latest achievements of the global and Ukrainian agricultural machine building. There is much to see here. For me, such dynamic exhibition activity is a very good sigh in the industry. I would like it to be �nally converted into manufacture of agricultural machinery here, in Ukraine. We enter the top 5 largest agrarian players of the world. Could we think of a better place for sellers and manufacturers? We have huge space for development”.

InterAGRO 2016 pleased with the national pavilions of France, Germany and the State of Israel, the latter being the �rst ever one.

Ernst Reichel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, thanked the organizers and participants of the exhibition:“For me it is a great honor to participate in the opening of the InterAGRO 2016 exhibition. It o�ers the latest solutions in agriculture to the market participants. I am very glad that Germany is represented by the National Pavilion once again. I would like to express the words of thanks to the organizers of InterAGRO 2016 and its German exhibitors”.

Eliav Belotserkovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine, shared his impressions concerning the exhibition:“Personally I am very impressed with the exposition, which is demonstrating how important the agricultural sector is for Ukraine and how serious Ukrainian authorities are about development of agricultural industry in the country. Ukrainian agriculture has huge potential not only for the country, but also for the whole world. I am positive that such an event as InterAGRO 2016 helps realizing this potential”.

Alexis Struve, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of France in Ukraine, Director of Business France in Ukraine, shared his impressions from participation in the exhibition: “Every time I admire the exhibition and the level of its participants. We have been participating in InterAGRO with the National Pavilion of France for 10 years already. For the FIRST TIME in the frames of the exhibition the absolutely unique project – the interactive platform InterAGRO Debate – started.

During three days of its work, InterAGRO Debate became the epicenter of communication between the leading experts of the agrarian market, specialists and heads of agricultural enterprises and representatives of state authorities. The debate was broadcast online to the screens inside all halls of the exhibition center and at the o�cial YouTube channel of InterAGRO. Debate organizers: Kyiv International Contract Fair and leading agricultural online media Latifundist.com and AgroPolit.com.

Day of France in Ukraine

Isabelle Dumont, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, underlined the importance of the exhibition for the French agribusiness:“France has been participating in the exhibition since its very beginning. Today, 13 companies represent the French Pavilion at InterAGRO 2016. I am proud of the fact that the French agribusiness companies want to be present at this exhibition. It proves that InterAGRO is a prestigious event indeed”.

The events program of the Day of France is always actual. This year, the main topic was “Risks management in agribusiness”. It was organized by the Embassy of France in Ukraine, National agency supporting the international development of the French economy Business France, Kyiv International Contract Fair, CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.

Main topics of the Day of France:• Price risks: tendencies and forecasts• Agricultural insurance: general information, experience of other countries, new products• Modern technological solutions for agricultural chemistry use optimization.

Ukrainian-Israeli agribusiness seminar

on future cooperation of the two countries. The event was organized by Trade and Economic Mission of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine. Such event that was signi�cant for further cooperation in the sphere of agriculture was opened by Mr. Eliav Belotserkovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel in Ukraine.

At the event, the representatives of Israel’s leading companies were present: Adama, global leader in plant protection agents; Hishtil, leading company for seedling growing; Neta�m, global leader in production of drip irrigation equipment. Israeli agriculture is famous all over the world for it largest volume of scienti�c basis, and adoption of experience and cooperation with a country advanced in agricultural technologies would be good for Ukraine to start implementation of innovations and get maximum results from further development of agricultural sphere.

Round table: ‘’New exportation opportunities for the agroindustrial complex. Opening the Asian markets’’

Olga Tro�mtseva, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, summarized the results of Ukraine’s cooperation with Asian countries in terms of grain exportation. Among the main Asian importers, India and Malaysia should be noted. Additionally, Mrs. Tro�mtseva stated that organic essence and conformity to quality standards of target consumer countries were the main criteria for successful work and increase of agricultural products exportation volume. During the round table, its participants discussed all matters concerning grain exportation and noted te prospects of Ukraine in this direction.

Conference: ‘’Soya. Latest tendencies in demand for vegetable protein for humans and animals. E�ective technological solutions and best production practices’’

Topics:• Actual state of soya market in Ukraine and prospects of its sales.• Instruments of increasing added value;• E�ective technologies for soya growing.In general, the topic of soya production and sales became a target of lively discussion. Thus, according to analytical data, Ukraine was top 8 country among soya manufacturers, while the number of farms manufacturing soya increased for 27,000 within the previous 10 years. So, Ukraine had positive tendencies for increasing soya production and exportation abroad.

Important matters considered at the conference:

Presentation of innovative technical solutions from New Holland, Vaderstad, Berthoud, Horsch, Apache, Hardi, Tecnoma and others

Numerous presentations of new samples of innovative machinery and equipment held at the stands of manufacturing companies were very popular. Not only did organizers of the events explain advantages of modern developments, but they also honored the best specialists and held draws of prizes among the agrarians present.

Day of young agricultural professionals

On the last day of the exhibition the young specialists of agrarian industry, students of agrarian higher educational establishments and colleges had an opportunity to meet the leading companies that dealt with employment of graduates of agricultural educational establishments and were ready to help the youth get practical skills in order to become high quality specialists. The �rst meeting of students with employers was visited by representatives of Imperiia-Agro, Agricom Group, Industrial Milk Company (IMC), Poletekhnika, Cygnet Agrocompany, Varog West Group. These companies were ready to employ young agronomists, mechanics and other specialists or o�er practice to students and provide them with scholarships.
