Inflate: Insertthepumphoseintothevalveandinflateasshownbelow.Screwthetopcapononcefinished

LocatetheinflationvalveforthetopoftheKayak(3).

Unscrewtheuppervalvecap.

Onceinflatedpressthecapbackinplaceandpushfirmlytorecess

thevalveintothebase.

LocatetherelevantinflationvalvefortheKayak(1,2,5,or6)

andremovethecap.

Using the Foot Pump

Usethefootpump(C)toinflatetheKayakuntilfirm,beingcareful

nottooverinflate.

Firmlypushtheendofthehose(C)intothedesiredinflationvalve.

Pushtheinflationhose(D)intothe‘inflate’valveonthefootpump(C)

andtwistclockwisetolock.

Inflating the backrest

LayouttheKayakbackrest(B)onaflatevensurface,makingsureitisclearofanysharpobjects.Locatetheinflationvalves(6)onthebackrest(B)andremovethevalvecaps.

InflatetheKayakbackrestusingthefootpumpasdirected.

Fitting the Backrest

PlacetheinflatedseatintotheKayakaligningthetiestuds(i)onthetoppanelinlinewiththeeyeletsonthesideoftheKayak(ii)

Tieafirmknotintheendofatiecordandloopthroughtheeyeletsandaroundthetiestudsasdirected.Thenfirmlytieafinalknottosecuretheseatinplace.Repeatfortheoppositeside.

LocatetheEyeletsontherearoftheseat(iii)andonthefloorofKayak(iv).LoopatiecordthroughalloftheeyeletsandfirmlytieaknottosecureseattobaseofKayak.

Onlyusecareproductsthatdonotcontaintracesofacidsorpetroleumandneverusesilicone-basedproducts.

• CleanyourKayakthoroughlyaftereveryusewithfreshwaterandmildsoaptoremovesaltcrystals,sandygranulesand

othersmalldirtparticles.Leaveittodrycompletely.

• DeflatethepartsoftheKayakbyremovingthestoppersfromtherelevantvalvesandremovealloftheair.

`•LaybothoftheuppersidepipesintotheinsideoftheKayakandfoldthemtogethercarefully.

• StoreyourKayakinacleananddryplaceawayfromdirectsunlightandsomewherewheretherearenogreattemperature

fluctuations.Payattentiontothefact,thattheKayakisnotwrinkledbutlaysflat,andkeepwelloutofthereachofrodents.

• Allinflatablesaresensitivetocold.TheKayakshouldneverbeunfoldedandinflatedatatemperatureunder10°C!

• Iftheatmosphericpressureincreasesundertheblazingsun,thismustbecompensatedbyreleasingsomeairfromthecraft.

• TrytoensurethattheKayak(particularlywheninflated)doesnotcomeintocontactwithstones,gravelorsharpobjects,

andthatitisnotdraggedorpulledalongthegroundbecausethiscandamagetheKayak‘sskin.

• Onlyinsertsuitablepumpadaptorsintothevalve.Thewrongtypeofpumpadaptorcandamagethevalve.

REPAIRING YOUR KAYAK

Youshouldnotattempttorepairlargedamagedsectionsbyyourself.Youcanrepairsmallareaswiththeenclosedrepairkit.

1. DeflatetheKayakcompletelyandcleantheareatoberepairedwithanalcohol-basedsolution.Roughenupthedamagedarea

surroundingtheholeortearwithafinesandpaper.

2.Cutapatchtocoverthedamagedarea.Thepatchshouldoverlapthedamagedareabyatleast1.25cmonallsides.

3.ApplythegluetotheKayakaswellastothepatch.Allowtodryforapprox.3minutes.

4.Pressthepatchdownfirmlyusingasoftobject.Makesurethatyouareworkingonaflat,evensurface.Removeanyairbubbles

witharoundedobject,gentlypushingthebubblesinanoutwarddirection.

5.Alwayswaitatleast12hoursafterarepairbeforepumpinguptheKayakonceagain.

DISPOSING OF YOUR KAYAK

Pleasedisposeoftheproductandpackaginginanenvironmentallyfriendlymanner,separatingdifferentmaterialsforrecycling

asrequired!Disposeofthisitemthroughanauthoriseddisposalcompanyorthroughyourlocalwastedisposalfacilities-askyour
