PROJECT OVERVIEWThe City of Corona has initiated the extension of the Foothill Parkway from Trudy Way to Paseo Grande at Green River, a project that has been anticipated since the 1980s.

The Foothill Parkway Westerly Extension Project is designed to improve east/west traffic flow through the southern portion of the City, and provide a parallel route to Ontario Avenue. The Westerly Extension Project will construct two new miles of Foothill Parkway from Trudy Way to Paseo Grande at Green River. Connections to the new section of Foothill Parkway, from both Mangular Avenue via Chase Drive and Border Avenue, are also part of the overall project.

CONSTRUCTION INFORMATIONWhile construction crews are working within the project corridor, construction activities may temporarily increase noise levels, dust and other minor inconveniences. Our team will proactively keep the community apprised of these activities and will do everything possible to ensure any is minimized as much as possible.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONOver the course of construction, lane closures and street closures may be required to complete portions of the work. In addition, the contractor will periodically install "No Parking" signs at a minimum of 48 hours prior to their scheduled activities.

Advanced notices will be provided to residents in the neighborhoods that may be impacted.

The ultimate goal for both the City and the Contractor is to minimize any inconveniences to the public and complete the project in a safe and expeditious manner.
