Delcndant Coughlin also requests a ruling on his motion for new trial. This court has
previously ruled on and denied his "Request to Submit 2/27/12 Motion for New Trial and Motion for

comprehend.
Defendant Coughlin is placed on notice that repetitious filings which have already ?4

Defendant Zachary Barker Coughlin has filed a document entitled "Notice oCAppeal

continuation of numerous pleadings filed subsequent to an Order oflhe Second Judicial District COUl1
aftirming the verdict andjudgmcnt of conviction of this Court dated March 15,2012.
Defendant Coughlin has heen previously advised that an appeal in a civil or criminal
case originating in thc Reno Municipal Court mLlst be taken and perfected in (he same manner as the
same type of appeal from the Justice's Courts, as provided in the Nevada Revised Statutes. Reno
Municipal Code Sec. 2.16.070. A defendant in a criminal action tried before a Justice of the Peace or
Municipal Court Judge may appeal from the finaljudgmcnt to the district court at any time within 10
days from the rendition ofthc judgment. NRS 189.0 10. Defendant Coughlin is well pastthe statutory
time limit for addressing matters that should have been addressed and included in his original appeal
in2011.
Based on the foregoing and good cause appearing,
IT lS HEREBY ORDERED that the Notice of Appeal of 12110113 Order to 2JDC

Defendant Zachary Barker Coughlin has filed a document entitled "Notice of Appeal
of All Orders So Far" and a "Request for Non-Blurry Copy of Filings per Admin (sie) Order 2013-0".
Neither of the submitted motions were typed. It is difficult ifnot impossible for this
Court to follow and understand the Defendant's submissions.
Neither motion is accompanied by Points and Authoritics nor proof that they were
served on thc opposing party, the Reno City Attorney. This is in violation of Reno Municipal Court
Rule 4.
Further, the motions attempt to address an action which was appealed to the Second
Judicial District Court on December 23,20 II. That Court issued its opinion affirming the verdict and
judgment orthe Reno Municipal Court on March 15,2012. An appeal in a civil or criminal case must
be taken and perfected in thc same manner as the same type of appeal from the Justice's Conrts, as
provided in thc Nevada Revised Statutes. Reno Municipal Court Sec. 2.16.070. A defendant in a
criminal action tried before a Justice of the Peace or Municipal Court Judge may appeal from the final
Judgmcnt to the District Court at any time within 10 days from the rendition of tile judgment. NRS
