Attention all EMS students who like to run, be active, and get faster for your next season of play! Mr. Brand will be hosting a Speed Camp for students who would like to learn how to run faster and improve their reaction time. This club will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:00 pm. Sign up sheet is in the office.

Boys and girls Track registration is going on until Friday, March 4th.

Forms will be available in the Main Office. The cost is $55.00 payable online through your students Infinite Campus account.

The team track shirt is available now for purchase via frpapparel.com.

Click on My Store, click on the Erie logo and place your orders there. The team jersey is $15.00. They also have hoodies available for $25.00. The deadline for ordering is Friday, March 11th. There will not be an extra supply of shirts available and late orders will not be accepted.

The City of Longmont is offering Coed Soccer for 6th-8th graders here at

EMS. Registration goes from February 8thMarch 2nd. You can register and pay for this program online at www.longmontcolorado.gov. Mr. Maughan (8th grade teacher) and Mrs. Budden (6th grade teacher) will be the coaches this year. Practices will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15-4:45pm starting March 7th. Games will be on Wednesdays. Cost is $55.00. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch the cost is $45.00. The season is from March 7th-April 29th.

The St. Vrain Education Foundation is holding their Tribute to Teachers

event on Friday, May 6th. Annually, they honor the top teachers within the district. To nominate a teacher, go to efsvv.org or call 720-652-8208 for more information. All nominations are due by March 15th.

A friendly reminder that absences need to be called in at 720-652-8289. On Monday, March 7th, the Health Office will be finishing up hearing and

vision screenings for the school year. Our Audiologist and a District Health Clerk will be at Erie Middle from 9:30 - 11:00. Parents of students who wear glasses will be contacted to remind their student to wear their glasses. Thank you for assistance with this project.
