Build the CakeLEARN IT BACK OF HOUSE

Use tip #3 and black icing to pipe the mouth. Pipe the outline first, and then fill in completely w ith lines of icing piped right next to each other. Smooth w ith an off-set spatula.

When packaging the 6" Monkey Cake, remember to put it on a 9" round cake board and then place it in a 9" round box. The ears are too long to fit in the 6" round box.

W2 POS FAQs

1. POS process each W indowEach step below should be followed in order to successfully download each window. On the day the W indow download is available you can do Steps 1 and 2. Complete Steps 3 and 4 when you are ready for the POS to be updated w ith your W indow changes (new buttons and price changes).

NOTE: You DO NOT need to do a Full Download to get the items in the Back Office to price. Only need to do a Full Download when you are ready for your POS to be updated fo r the Window. It is im portant that you ALWAYS complete a full download before the start of the w indow (even if you did not make any price changes and aren't selling anything new).

STEP 1 VALIDATE PRICES FOR NEW ITEMS AND AUTO COMBOS

2. W hen to dow nload and how to avoid dow nload queue backups• Do not put through Full Downloads on top o f Full Downloads as this contributes to queue backups and

general slowness (the system will delete the previous download and keep the most recent one).

• On the day the download is available the new items and auto combos will be viewable in the Back Office fo r you to begin pricing.

1. Price your items and auto combos, then when you are ready to get the menu changes (new buttons, coupons, auto combo prices, discount changes, etc.) on your POS, Update Costs and Retails to the current business date then put through a Full Download.

a. Your POS will then be completely updated fo r the Window.

2. If after the Full Download you need to make another retail price change or sales item lock change it is recommended that after Updating Costs and Retails you put through a Pricing & Item Locks Only Download NOT a Full Download. Doing this will help prevent a queue backup and get your price changes through much quicker.

3. M yth busters1. I have to do a Full Download first in order to see the items in the Back Office to price.

. f a l s e - items will be viewable in the Back Office the day the download is available. You should only do a Full Download when you are ready to bring down your menu changes (new buttons, coupons, auto combo prices, discount changes, etc.)

2. If I do a Pricing & Item Locks Only Download it will include my auto combo prices.^ a ls e - you m ust do a Full Download to include auto combo prices. A Pricing & Item Locks Only Download w ill only bring down item level pric ing and sales item lock changes.

3. I don’t need to do a Full Download for this Window because I’m not selling any new items and did not make any price changes.

- Full Downloads also include any menu changes such as button removals, button placement changes, panel updates, sandwich build changes, new coupons (i.e. In-Transaction offers, DD Perks offers, Mobile offers, local offers, etc.), receipt changes, routing updates, etc.

4. After completing my Full Download for the Window, I made a couple of retail price changes and can now do a Pricing & Item Locks Only Download instead of a Full Download.^ ■ r u e - I f a fte r completing the Full Download you make any retail price changes o r sales item lock changes i t is recommended that you p u t through a Pricing & Item Locks Only Download instead o f another Full Download. This w ill go through quicker and helps to avoid a queue backup.

5. I made only retail price changes and did not price any auto combos through the pricing workflow and it sent down the correct download so I am all set for the new Window.f r ALSE - i f you only make retail item price changes and do no t price any auto combos then i t will send down the appropriate download fo r the changes made which in this case could would be a Pricing & Item Locks Only Download. You will s till need to Update Costs and Retails and p u t through a Full Download to bring down all o f the menu changes/updates fo r the new Window.
