Eligibility: Players having the FIDE rating of 1799 and below as on 1st Jan 2015 are only allowed to participate in this event. AICF & AOCA Registration : Those who have already registered with AICF should bring proof of the same. AICF (for all INDIAN players) & AOCA (for Odisha Players only) Registration is compulsory for all players for the year 2014-2015 for unregistered players. Facility will be available at the venue for the convenience of the players. (` 250/- + one photo + copy of Date of Birth Certificate.) Chess Board & Clock : Players are requested to bring their own CHESS clock(FIDE approved) & Chess Board. System Of Play: The Tournament will be conducted as per latest FIDE law & Swiss system with 9 (Nine) rounds with the time control of 60 minutes with 30 sec increment from move no. 1 Tie Break: Buchholz tie break system will be applied. The cash prize however will not be shared. Protests: Protest if any shall be made in writing with a protest fee ` 500/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incidents. The protest fee will be refunded, if the appeal is upheld. Withdrawals: A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing chief arbiter in writing. Right of Admission: AICF / AOCA/ Organiser reserves the right to admission /refuse any entry without assigning any reason thereof. Lodging : All Outstation Players will get free dormitory accommodation for the entire tournament period subject to prior intimation on or before 15th Jan 2015, failing on which organizer are not responsible for accommodation. Players desiring separate hotel accommodation will be provided hotel room on double sharing basis (1st come 1st serve), subject to prior payment of `1500/- per player and subject to prior intimation on or before 15th January 2015. All participants are eligible for Free Fooding (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) at venue for entire tournament period.
Each accompanying person will be charged Rs. 1,000/- for Dormitory accommodation and ` 2,000/- for Hotel accommodation and with Free Fooding (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) at venue for entire tournament period.
