This is America’s Homework Gap, and our Opportunity Gap!

Appreciation from School Administrators
I had one father near tears telling me how this will now allow his family to stay safely at home. They are used to parking at a McDonalds late in the evening to complete homework.Rhonda Hobbs, Dr. Technology, Winton Woods City School District

Forming Compelling Partnerships
We’re cultivating compelling partnerships to leverage the high-speed Internet access we’re providing to the hundreds of thousands of high school students nationwide as we
seek to maximize their ability to achieve their full potential.
§ Columbia University: As our measurement partner and beginning in the fall of the 2018/19 school year, they’re going to help us understand our programmatic impacts on attendance, homework completion rates, behavior, grades, graduation rates and college matriculation rates.
§ CollegeBoard: Our work together is designed to encourage, facilitate and incentivize 1MP students to also use their high-speed internet access to engage in official SAT prep via Khan Academy. We’re providing the devices and the data rewards, and are co-branding in-school collateral with compelling messages about the importance of practice. CollegeBoard will provide the teacher and student prep expertise. Together we’re launching three pilots (Chicago, Oklahoma City and San Antonio in the fall of 2018/19).
§ State XYZ: We’re in the advanced stages of a partnership with one state’s governor’s office to offer the 1Million Project statewide to all eligible high school students within Sprint’s + others’ networks.
