Brief profile of Shri. Pramod Kumar Panda (DIN: 08150489),

Shri. Pramod Kumar Panda, a career central banker, specializes in financial regulation, bankingsupervision and capacity building financial inclusion. He has long and extensive experience inReserve Bank of India (RBll's onsite supervision and off site monitoring of commercial banks. Hehas also headed the Financial Fraud Monitoring Cell of Department of Banking Supervision (DBS),Central Office of RBL Basis his financial supervision experience, Shri. Panda has deep technicalknowledge and understanding of internal controls, risk management including fraud riskmanagement and corporate governance. He has rich experience, both at global and national levelsin designing and delivering high quality and innovative capacity building programs.

Shri. Panda, is currently associated with the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning(CAFRAL)'s, learning activities as Senior Program Director. Also, he is Director on the Board ofCorporation Bank as RBI's nominee. He was RBI Nominee Director on the Board of Bank of India.He was also an Independent Director on the Board of Home Credit India Finance Private Limited,a systemically important NBFC which is a subsidiary of an international non-bank financialinstitution, Home Credit B.V. headquartered in Netherlands

He holds a Masters' Degree in Science (MSc) from London School of Economics & Political Science,UK; a Master's Degree Arts (MA) in Political Science from Utkal University, Odisha, India and aBachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from Utkal University. He has completed the Sloan ExecutiveEducation Programme on Mlr's Approach to Design Thinking from Massachusetts Institute ofTechnology, USA

As General Manager and Chief General Manager at RBI's DBS he has led projects forimplementation of Risk Based Supervision, Pillar 2 of Basel 11,Financial Conglomerate Supervisionand Cross Border Supervision and Supervisory Cooperation. He has been a member of the TaskForce that advised the Accord Implementation Group of The Basel Committee on BankingSupervision (BCBS) in finalizing the Good Practice Principles on Supervisory Colleges

Shri. Panda has been with the International Monetary Fund for three years as Resident Advisor atits Technical Assistance Centre (AFRITAC South}, Mauritius where he assisted the financialregulators of southern African countries in strengthening their financial sector regulation andsupervision. He has also been the Principal of RBI's College of Agricultural Banking, Pune whichbuilds capacity amongst bankers in India and South Asia in inclusive finance.
