EAST-HORIZON Start date – 01.02.2014; Nr of partners – 14;

Duration – 30 months;

Objectives:

to evaluate EECA countries capacities and to identify existing

infrastructures, interests, market structure, policies R&D frameworks, current status of research programmes, international positioning and cooperation etc.

to create a roadmap that will maximize both the overall EU-EECA cooperation in ICT Research;

to ringing together European Technology platforms and Knowledge networks which will assist EU & EECA countries in identifying new ICT policies;

to organize trainings and information events about Work Programme 2014-2015 of H2020;

to elaborate and disseminate the Catalogue of Research Groups from EECA region.

EECA-2-HORIZON Start date – 01.02.2014; Nr of partners – 10; Duration – 30 months;

Objectives: to reinforce strategic partnerships and the preparation of joint RTD&I initiatives among the EU and EECA ICT research and industrial communities to create sustainable “ICT Communities” by linking ICT stakeholders from both regions in areas of high importance; to organise and deploy a variety of networking and twinning activities to promote bi-regional cooperation cases & twinning (e.g. knowledge transfer, public-private, research-industrial partnerships) etc. to provide advanced support services; to support the dialogue on EU-EECA cooperation potential in ICT; cooperation and exploitation of synergies with other EU INCO related initiatives (such as BILAT, INCO-Net, ERA-NET projects); to set up an “EU-EECA Virtual Collaboration Breeding Environment in ICT”.

The overall aim of the PICTURE project is to engage the EU and EECA stakeholders from across research, academia, industries, government and civil society to enrich and support the EU-EECA ICT Policy Dialogue, and to reinforce strategic partnerships between EU and EECA ICT organizations

Objectives:• to enrich and support the policy dialogue between EU and EECA;• to strengthen strategic partnerships between EU and EECA organizations;• to facilitate interactions between EU and EECA ICT communities through

organizations of joint events and joint EU-EECA R&D initiatives.
