Benefit of ENCON Projects – Investment

Reduction of Energy Consumption – 42938/Month

Compact Row based swappable Power Modules

Better efficiency even at lesser load of 20 to 30% (Efficiency of 95%+) thus less UPS losses and energy savings

thereof- Efficiency 95%

Lesser Harmonic distortion < 3% without active filters ensures better Power quality

As UPS of the Modular UPS is in optimum capacity, better system efficiency thus less heatings, power losses

which is in turn reduces Air condition requirement for cooling. Approx. AC cooling requirement will be reduced by

approx. 25 % than Traditional UPS requirement

Payback/Return of investment against UPS Capex (approx.) less than 2.3 Years

ECP-1 Retrofit of conventional UPS(160KVA*3Nos&400KVA*2Nos) to modular UPS(180&120KVA*2Nos)After Modular UPSConventional UPS

Energy Savings ContributionsBest Practices

UPS Air-conditioning

Optimized the workstation UPS load by switching OFF 2 No’s of UPS .

Awareness was created among employees to shut down PC and monitor when they leave

from work.

Auto Push program automatically puts the PC to hibernate mode when it is not in use.(Achieved

88% reduction)

Workplace Temperature policy standardized :

24 ° C to 25 ° C (CODE 001)

Increasing the UPS/Battery room Temperature from 22 ° C to 25 ° C

Hub room temperature were increased from 23 ° C to 25 ° C

Introduction of Induction based heating

Mandatory use of BEE Star rated equipment's

Scheduled Kitchen Operation timing to optimize exhaust and Fresh Air

loads.

Reuse of hot water in bain-marie for washing purpose

Ensure healthiness of the equipment's placed in pantry and cafeteria to minimize the power

consumption

Monthly audit for Electrical, safety and hygiene

Benefits:

• Less energy consumption

• Less energy consumption of A\C load

in workstation due to low heat

generation in CPU

• Reduced carbon footprint

• Reduction in UPS load

Kitchen / Pantry
