Migration, climate change and economic globalisation transform human and social life in the 21 st century. Under the title “Housing and Human Settlements in a World of Change”, this year’s conference will bring together international scholars and urban specialists to discuss the interlinkage between these three global megatrends and housing as well as housing provision under the umbrella of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and New Urban Agenda (NUA). Directions
By plane Stuttgart airport is well connected. You can reach the city centre comfortably by commuter train (S-Bahn S2 or S3 towards main station) or taxi. In case your journey includes a connecting flight in Germany that is operated by Deutsche Bahn, you will arrive by train at the main station in the centre of Stuttgart.
By train Stuttgart’s main station is located in the city centre, 10 minutes away from the venue on foot.
By car We highly recommend using public transport to arrive in Stuttgart for environmental reasons and scarcity of (affordable) parking space.
Accommodation Hotel rooms, especially in proximity to the conference venue, are limited and can be costly. We recommend arranging your accommodation as soon as possible. We reserved some rooms at special negotiated rates. Please note that rooms are limited and available at a first-come-first-serve basis.
