He starred at Boston Trade High School, and was noticed in the schoolyards by Celtics’ star Sam Jones neighborhood. He went to Providence College. Later he was the number one overall to the Detroit Pistons in 1967. At age 63 he died on July 2, 2007 due to lung cancer.
