Once again, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Update on Hepatology 2021.

This year’s course will address the topic Updates and Debates in Liver Diseases and will be running in hybrid form.

With the perfect blend of online and on-site (face-to-face) participation, you will be engaged with expert faculty and colleagues through roundtable discussions, live Q&A and educational sessions, networking and maximizing learning outcomes in the field of chronic liver diseases.

The topics that have been selected give us the opportunity to develop the latest clinical advancements, as well as the remaining challenges and controversies.

Our goal remains to deliver up-to-date knowledge, to help our liver community stay connected and maintain the commitment to lifelong learning in hepatology during these challenging times.
