AUGMENTED REALITYHosted by the Office of Public Art, the “Augmented Reality Exhibit” is a unique and fascinating digital 3-D experience never before seen in the Rio Grande Valley. Exhibit visitors will explore and touch the untouchable, while immersed in cinema quality 3D environments, interacting with photo-realistic characters in real time. The Augmented Reality exhibit features everything from dinosaurs to killer whales! The exhibit will be housed in the UTRGV Fieldhouse from Oct. 1-4, and will move to the Visitors Center through Oct. 31, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public.COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AND P16 INTEGRATION“Learning with STEAM” by the College of Education and P16 Integration UTCARES – STEAM activities, including Engineering Egg Sculptures, Making Ice Cream, Racing Cars, Testing the force of Earthquakes, Creating Bubble Power, and Creating Marble Paintings. The activity will take place inside HPE1/Fieldhouse.COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS• Musical Petting Zoo in partnership with the Office of Public Art and College of Fine Arts at the PAC -

Whether you’re 2 or 92, the HESTEC “Musical Petting Zoo” invites you to explore a variety of instruments in a hands-on way as UTRGV School of Music faculty and students demonstrate how to hold, play, and experience them!

• Peter & The Wolf – The fairy tale comes to life on stage at UTRGV through music and dance, presented by the Dance Theater of Edinburg and UTRGV School of Music Faculty Wind Quintet at HESTEC Community Day, at 4 p.m. at the UTRGV Performing Arts Complex.

• Death and the Maiden (Theatre Department) at 7:30 p.m., Location: Albert L. Jeffers Theatre
