knerican Banking Corporation, requesting an amendment of its

agreement with the eoard whereby the aggregate of its outstanding

acceptances plus the total of all deposits held by it may not

exceed twelve times the emount of its subscribed capital and

rplue, rather than six. times, az under the terms of said

agreement.

Letter dated January 7th from the Federal Reserve

In view of the statement made by Mr. Martin,no objection was made to the expenditure.

Telegram dated January 12th from the Chairman, Fed-

eral Reeerve Bank, of ChieLo, suggesting for coneideratien,

names of two additional directors for the Detroit 31‘anch of

that sank. A discussion developed that through inadvertence

the Board had approved the increase of the number of directors

of the Detroit Branch from five to seven, and on motion duly
