J esus, Mary and Joseph; Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Blessed & Healthy Happy New Year”. I thank the LORD for your faithful presence in our parish. The season of Christmas is the time for joy and sharing that joy with our family members, especially those who are sick, lonely, and elderly . God the Father sent us His only Son, Jesus Christ, to wipe the tears from every cheek. Jesus manifested the true form of God on earth in compassion, love and generosity. As Pope Francis titled his book, Name of God is Mercy”. After almost two years of pastoral ministry in Mater Dei Parish, I have seen so many people living alone and with family members who are too busy in their lives to reach out to the elderly. Love for the elderly must be nourished in our children and grandchildren. One who loves God cannot ignore their parents or grandparents, siblings or friends. St. John says: Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.I urge you and recommend that you to find some time to reach out to our forgotten family members to share the Joy and Love of Christmas. Jesus Christ called us to follow Him and that is why we are called Christians”. If we are able to share the LOVE of Jesus with everyone in our lives, we become another Christ to our beloved brothers and sisters. The Word of God will become fleshin our lives. J esus, Mary and Joseph; Wishing you

and your family a “Merry Christmas

and Blessed & Healthy Happy New

Year”. I thank the LORD for your faithful

presence in our parish. The season of

Christmas is the time for joy and sharing

that joy with our family members, especially

those who are sick, lonely, and elderly .

God the Father sent us His only Son, Jesus

Christ, to wipe the tears from every cheek.

Jesus manifested the true form of God on

earth in compassion, love and generosity.

As Pope Francis titled his book, “Name of

God is Mercy”.

After almost two years of pastoral ministry

in Mater Dei Parish, I have seen so many

people living alone and with family members who are too busy in their lives to reach

out to the elderly. Love for the elderly must be nourished in our children and

grandchildren. One who loves God cannot ignore their parents or grandparents,

siblings or friends.

St. John says: “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone

who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know

God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent

His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.

In this is

love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the

propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one

another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us,

and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us,

because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father

has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.”

I urge you and recommend that you to find some time to reach out to our forgotten

family members to share the Joy and Love of Christmas. Jesus Christ called us to

follow Him and that is why we are called “Christians”. If we are able to share the

LOVE of Jesus with everyone in our lives, we become another Christ to our beloved

brothers and sisters. “The Word of God will become flesh” in our lives.
