1. Personal Ministries: "The Lord is soon to come. The angels are holding the four winds, in order
that God's people may do their long-neglected work. We are not half awake to what might be done
in our world. . . . There are many souls to be saved. In words and deed be wise unto salvation,
representing Christ to all with whom you come in contact. Let all see that your feet are shod with
the preparation of the gospel of peace and goodwill to men. Wonderful are the results we shall see
if we enter the work imbued with the Spirit of Christ. If we carry the Word forward, in
righteousness, mercy, and love, help will come in our necessity. Truth will triumph and bear away
the victory." (Pacific Union Recorder, Oct.23, 1902; Reflecting Christ p.240)
2. For further information on the next course in the WAVES program, please see the schedule placed
on the bulletin board.
3. Stephen Ministries: When you see people who are sad, lonely, or grief-stricken, don't tell them
you care - show them you care. Ask them how they are, listen to what they have to say, share the
love of Jesus. And if their need is great, encourage them to consider Stephen Ministry as a way to
receive the transforming love and care of Jesus. Stephen Ministry serves the care receivers,
providing hours of quality, one to one confidential Christian care. Please contact Pastor Gibbons,
Elder Dwayne Burgess, Katherina Gibbons at 333-1652 or 292-4276 and show them you care, you
can make a real difference in their life.
4. The Willing Workers of Bermuda invites you to come and join us on Sabbath, September 9,
2017 at 6 p.m. at the Botanical Gardens. Dr. Kuni Frith ND will give a presentation on 'The

HAMILTON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH
Our Vision:
The vision of the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church is to be a caring, biblically directed Christian Fellowship, where everyone experiences a loving relationship with Jesus Christ and is committed to using their talents and abilities to prepare others for His Second Coming.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church is to proclaim the everlasting gospel to our families, friends and neighbors, leading them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and nurturing them through Christ centered ministries in preparation for His soon return.
Our Method:
We pursue this mission under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through:
Preaching: We proclaim the message of a loving God fully revealed in His Son Jesus Christ and the Bible. We present the Bible’s full message, which includes the second advent of Jesus Christ and the Ten Commandment law with its reminder of the Seventh-day Sabbath. Teaching: We nurture the development of a loving relationship with God, by furthering the understanding of God’s will through Bible studies, teaching health and stewardship principles and community seminars.
Restoring: We minister to the needs of the whole person, which involves the compassionate ministry of restoring the spiritual, physical, emotional and social well-being through various community services, health programs and support group ministries. Discipling: Affirming continued spiritual growth and development of all members. We nurture the converted, instruct them in righteous living, train them for effective witness and encourage their responsive obedience to God’s Will.
Our Motto:
Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33.
Spread the Love! Share the Joy!
