The Wabeno Area Players originated over 25 years ago under the direction of Nancy Volk. At that time the organization presented mainly summer-theater on the Wabeno High School stage, including such shows as Steel Magnolias, Nunsense, Two by Two and numerous plays.

Since 2014, the troupe has been performing a much extended calendar, including a revival of Steel Magnolias in November of 2015, Nunsense Jamboree and Cemetery Club in 2016, Hallelujah Girls, And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little, and The Letter in 2017, and A Funny Little Thing Called Love, The Dastardly Dr. Devereaux, and A Deadly Habit in 2018.

In 2016, the Players became a nonprofit organization that continues to grow because of generous tax deductible donations.

THERE IS NO CHARGE

We are looking for 25 students who want to have fun dedicating themselves to theater for a week! Students need to

attend all five days and sessions.

Camp is hosted by the Wabeno Area Players. Instructors are members of the

Players, retired teachers, teachers of area schools, and area artists.
