“Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call for the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned,
he will be forgiven.” James 5: 13-15

to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is --his good,

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR GRADUATES Sunday, June 10, 2017 – During 11:00AM Service
BRIGHTER DAY DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR
SUNDAY MORNING
BIBLE STUDY CLASS
Discipleship Ministry extends this Invitation to you to come out and join us as we
discover more of the Person and Knowledge of this Great and Powerful God who
loves us so much that He gave us His Only Son Jesus Christ to pay for our sins to
make us His people.
Jesus told us to learn of Him, and that comes through studying His Word. God has
placed in His Body Teachers, and these Teachers have made themselves available
to us on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM at the A.P. Shaw (East) Campus) to teach
these Adult Bible Classes.
The lessons taught from Sunday to Sunday have been so relevant. The Teachers
have explained how these lessons apply to life today. The many questions that
have been asked from the members have been answered with satisfactory
answers. We can never hear too much of God's Word, “for faith comes from
hearing -- and hearing the Word of God.”
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning! These are the Scriptures we
are studying during the month of July:
September 2, 2018 – “God Creates Heaven and Earth” – Genesis 1:1-13
September 9, 2018 – “God Creates Lights and Life” – Genesis 1:14-25
September 16, 2018 – “God Creates People” – Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 2:4-7
September 23, 2018 – “God Creates the Family” – Genesis 2:18-24; Genesis 4:1-2
September 30, 2018 – “God Confronts Sin” – Genesis 3:8-17, 20-24

A SIMPLE AND CONVENIENT WAY TO GIVE
We encourage you to automate your regular donations. Consider signing up for electronic giving, it makes it easy to give your tithes and offerings even when you’re unable to attend church. Whatever the reason, you can still rejoice in the miracle of giving by sending your tithes and offerings. The system is very secure.
We thank you for your continued support!
Please see Denise Lowery or any member of the Financial Management Team for details.
As you give, do so with a joyful heart…..

2 Corinthians 9 verses 6 to 8 - Generosity Encouraged - Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
