Goal and Objectives
• Goal:– to contribute to the improvement of European-wide education in
secondary schools based on common, innovative principles in technology, in pedagogy, and in learning scenarios, tested by a well-defined validation framework
• Objectives– to allow the daily use of the UNITE platform in the schools’
classrooms– to provide a solid theory for the UNITE eLearning scenarios– to enhance the learning experience by the use of ICT

Conclusions
• UNITE combines:– technical expertise in the areas of eLearning and
mobile learning– pedagogical expertise in the areas of group learning
and exploratory learning– expertise in the conceptualization of re-usable
eLearning content and the creation of Europe-wide eLearning repositories
– access to a wide range of different types of schools all over Europe
– advanced methods of continuous validation and socio-economic evaluation
