Who are we?

• 180 Degrees Consulting is an international volunteer student consultancy that works with socially conscious organizations, helping them achieve a greater social impact.

• We help non-profit organizations and charities to solve their business problems

• Founded at the University of Sydney in 2007

• Effective use of funds is just as important as the level of funds

We currently employ over 350 consultants in 19 offices internationally

Canterbury Branch• Started in the second semester of 2012• We had 2 clients for the initial semester• Continued to grow and currently have 4 projects running this semester• Have worked with 8 clients since 2012 with repeating business from

clients who were impressed with our work

Clients are engaged and an initial problem scope is defined

Training for the consultants provided by industry professionals and university lecturers

Final report with findings submitted to the client

Presentation evening where the team presents their findings to the client. Are often asked to present to Board of Directors or national offices

How can NGOs and charities get involved?

• We are always looking for new clients to help• Approach us with an idea of a problem and we will discuss further• The project will run for a semester (12 weeks)• Will receive a report and presentation of findings
