DESCRIPTION PUMPED FLUIDSHousing:Solid with support feet under the casing.Minimum corrosion allowance of 3 mm.

Casing cover:Clamped between the casing and bearing.

Bearing:Modular process construction, generously dimensioned in compliance with the ISO 5199 standard and supported by a rear support foot. Heavy-duty ball bearings designed for a service life of 17,500 hours according to ISO 5199 class II. Sealed by lip seals. Equipped with a boss for the addition of any instrumentation that might be required (tem-perature / vibration).

Coupling:Semi-elastic with spacer as standard.

Shaft:Generously dimensioned in compliance with the ISO 5199 standard and in order to extend the service life of the gland packing. Shaft made of 316L jacketed steel or solid 316L stainless steel.

Impeller:Semi-open, made of duplex stainless steel, screwed onto the shaft and equipped with draining fins.Diameter can be adapted by trimming to obtain the required Q/H.Easy adjustment of impeller clearance via three screws, for the pumping of slightly muddy liquids.

Leak-tightness of shaft:By a standardised or cartridge-mounted mecha-nical seal. Conical, 45° stuffing box with anti-vor-tex partition preventing the swirling of abrasive particles.

Observation:Correction of hydraulic characteristics to be carried out according to the density/viscosity of the fluid.

Particles:Occasional pumping:Maximum size of particles for occasional pumping: 5 to 25 mm according to the size of pump (contact us).

Continuous operation:Maximum content for continuous operation with solid particles below 1 mm in size: 10% by volume and limited to 35% with light par-ticles without modification of density.

During the pumping of muddy liquids, the speed will be limited to 1,500 rpm and the pump will be selected at between 80 and 110% of the BEP.
