WARHAMMER AGE OF SIGMAR: The Wonders of Agloraxi Campaign The shadow of war stretches far across the Flamescar Plateau. This expansive region of the Realm of Fire has been conquered and lost

many times since the Age of Myth, and its hidden treasures still draw the eyes of warlords and champions from across the Mortal

Realms.

Many thousands of years ago, the magocracy known as the Algoraxi Empire dominated vast swathes of territory within the Realm of

Fire. Immersed in their studies, the Arch-Domini did not partake in any physical task that would distract them their pursuit of eldritch

mastery. Thus the Algoraxi created vast, humanoid automatons to perform tasks of battle and construction for them. They utilized

these automatons to assemble and align the immense weapon known as the Prismatikon, a continent-spanning engine of desolation

that when properly aligned could focus the light and heat of Aqshy itself into a lance of destructive energy powerful enough to tear

the very fabric of reality.

THE FALL OF THE ALGORAXI Within the span of only a few short years, the power of the Algoraxi was broken. While the fall of their empire is an event lost to the

vagaries of time, legends tell that the mages of the sky-cities angered Khorne with their arrogant posturing bringing forth Khorne’s

destructive power upon them. The ruins of the city lie there still, it’s dust– chocked halls ever haunted by revenant spirits and ancient

golems of sadistic design. Whatever the truth of there down fall, the Arch-Dominin were all slain, and with their deaths came an end

to the Algoraxi Empire.

THE WONDERS OF ALGORAXI The constitute elements of the Prismatikon remain scattered across the Falmescar Plateau, great monoliths of shimmering crystal that

protrude from the sand like the tombstones of the lost empire. To reassemble and control the Prismatikon would require finding and

controlling all four of the Wonders of Algoraxi, Thus far no one has been able to claim such a feat.

Now the God-King Sigmar’s armies assemble for battle. Fresh eyes are drawn to the Flamescar Plateau, and to its four wonders

concealed therein. A new kind of war will come to this land. It’s very fate rests in your hands!.

AGE OF SIGMAR HOUSE RULES: • At this event, we will measure all distances between models using their bases as a reference point. This is commonly known as

measuring “base-to-base”.

• You will not be allowed to be play with unpainted or unbased models. We will politely ask you to remove any such model from the

table (what counts as painted and based is detailed later on in this pack).

• Each model you have in your army must accurately represent what is in your army list. There is room for discussion, but it must be

made clear from the outset that we want it to be perfectly obvious to your opponent what is on the table in front of them so bear that

in mind when deciding what you want to bring, or what awesome conversions you are planning. We want to be as fair and as clear as

possible, so please get in contact with us if you are not planning to use the ‘models out of the box’. We will have the final say on

whether or not a model is suitable for use at Warhammer World.

THE AWARDS THE WONDERS OF ALGORAXI CHAMPION

During the campaign weekend we will ask you to record several results but the overall winner of the Wonders of Algoraxi

will be the player who receives the most favourite game votes.

In the event of a tie the scores for The Headtakers and Monster Slayers will be consulted in that order.

FAVOURITE GAME VOTES Favourite Game Votes are simple - just pick the player you enjoyed playing against the most at the event. It’s a great way to

acknowledge a really fun game, opponents with whom you had great rapport, or maybe it was just that their army looked fantastic.

Votes are taken at the end of the weekend with the results of your final game, so please show your appreciation of your favourite

opponent.

THE HEADTAKERS The players that slay the most models with the “Hero” keyword will receive this award.

THE MONSTER SLAYERS The players that slay the most models with the “Monster” keyword will receive this award.

ALLIANCE WINNER During the weekend you will not only be fighting for your own pride but also that of your Alliance. Each game will have simply vic-

tory conditions and these will be recorded. The more vital the mission the more it’s worth and at the end of the weekend we will total

up the number of Victory Points per Alliance and deem one team the winner. They will have control of the Wonders Of Agloraxi to

use as they will.

All members of the winning Alliance will be awarded an award.

OTHER ACTIVITIES DURING THE EVENT: LEGENDS PAINTING COMPETITIONS The Legends painting competition gives you the chance to show off your skills with single models and units rather than with whole

armies. Simply enter the relevant category when it’s open, Once all the entries are in, we will ask all the players to vote for their

favourites. The player that earns the most votes in each category will win the relevant prize. You are only allowed to enter one entry

per category. HERO OF LEGEND: Any single Battleline, Leader or uncategorised model on a 60mm base or less.

ICON OF LEGEND: Any Artillery model (plus any attendant crew) any model with the Monster keyword or any Behemoth or

Behemoth Leader model.

COMPANY OF LEGEND: Any unit of between two and five models, not including any Behemoth, Behemoth Leader or

Artillery models. .

THE BEST ARMY COMPETITION Painting a whole army is a landmark achievement in and of itself, and everyone at the event should be proud that they have a painted

army to play with. Some players go above and beyond this, and produce exceptional quality armies to an incredible standard.

Conversions, outstanding basing, highlighting, airbrushing, themed models - the works.

The Events Staff on the weekend will get a shortlist of the best armies from the event and from that shortlist, they will pick the Best

Army Nominations. Any army that makes it on to the shortlist will receive an award in recognition of their efforts.

Every player who is selected to be a nominee will display their armies over lunch time and then all the attendants will have a chance

to vote for the one they like the best. The player who receives the most will be awarded the Best Army trophy during the award

ceremony.

To enter all of our painting competitions you must have constructed and painted the army yourself.

CONVERSIONS AND PROXIES We often get asked if conversions and proxies are allowed at our events. The answer is yes but we need to check them first. Not every

conversion or proxy is suitable for organised play, or for Warhammer World. For example, there is a difference between a Dracothian

Guard model and a Vanguard-Palladors model and we would expect any player to use the correct one in any army they bring, for the

sake of clarity and to prevent any confusion on the part of their opponent. If you are in any way unsure, consult our handy

flowchart below:

Are you planning to use conversions or proxies of any kind (aka. anything other than the stock model)?

YES! Contact us at 0115 900 4994 or email us at [email protected]

NO! Carry on - nothing to worry about except getting it painted on time.

CODE OF CONDUCT Here at Warhammer World we expect everyone to use fully painted and assembled models and to treat everyone they encounter with

civility and respect. This is just as true during your games - especially at an event weekend where the objective is to have fun playing

against your opponents whilst trying to win the game and spend time with quality, like-minded people. We are looking for great

generals who enjoy not only the hobby but use their battlefield skill in a friendly manner. We want to reward all aspects of the hobby

including painting, playing and sportsmanship to reward our Warhammer Age of Sigmar players.
