SAP Note 1692217 - DMEE: GB_BACS: RTI Info for payroll inthe DME file

Summary

Symptom

When the DMEE format GB_BACS is executed to create the DME file(BACS

format) for the Payroll, the Real Time Information(RTI) indicator was not

transferred to the DME file.

Reason and Prerequisites

The DMEE format GB_BACS is used to create the BACS DME file from the

payroll side. The Real Time Information(RTI) indicator which is generated

by the payroll, should be transferred to the DME file in the item record

section at the position 32 to 35.

The corrections of this note will transfer the RTI indicator only for theBACS file format.

Solution

Carry out the manual activities attached to the manual instructions of the

note as well as from the attachments of the note and then implement the

correction instructions attached to the same note.

Upload the attached XML file in your system to change the format.

To do this, use the description in the attachment(DMEE_Upload.zip).

GB_BACS.XML is available for releases from 470 to 606.

and separately in each system before you import the Note to implement.

Follow the below steps to create the Function Module DMEE_EXIT_GB_BACS_RTI:

1) Go to transaction SE37.

2) In the Function Builder: Initial Screen, enter the value

'DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE_EXTEND_ABA' in the Functional Module field and click onthe Copy button.

3) Then put the Fr. Function module as 'DMEE_EXIT_TEMPLATE_EXTEND_ABA' and

To Function Module as 'DMEE_EXIT_GB_BACS_RTI' and Function Group as

'FPAYM_GB1' and press Copy.

4) Save and activate the function module in the package ID-FI.
