outdoor terrace, at Lanzerac, our superb cuisine - boasting the very best locally sourced, seasonal and sustainable ingredients

- takes diners on an exciting culinary journey.

Manor Kitchen

In the  Manor Kitchen, guests can indulge in an opulent buffet

breakfast or treat themselves to classic evening dishes that have

been reimagined with contemporary influences and comprised of the

very best local, seasonal ingredients. Diners will get a glimpse of the

creativity that goes into preparing these appetizing meals through

the large-scale windows that look in on the kitchen’s operations.

Guests can also enjoy the rusticity and airiness of the venue with its

natural light streaming in through the skylight and greenery of the

gardens filtering in through the windows.

On Sundays, visitors can enjoy a four-course lunch served between

12h00 and 15h00 at a cost of R390 per person. The set menu meals,

which are changed weekly, feature a starter, soup, main and dessert.

Patrons can also stop by for a sumptuous Afternoon Tea served every

Saturday between 14h00 and 17h00, with both sweet and savoury

options on offer. Priced at R280 per person, the Afternoon Tea

includes loose leaf TWG teas and a complimentary glass of Lanzerac

Méthode Cap Classique.

Taphuis

The succession of ownership through the eras has layered the

Estate’s rich history, and present day Lanzerac honours the rich and

vast legacy by telling the stories of its past. Created during the

Rawdon era in the 1960’s, the Taphuis Bar is a place where guests

have made many memories. The Taphuis’ country-inspired décor

is rich in texture with rough stone walls, brick floors and exposed

wooden ceilings.

The gourmet pub-style menu offers sharing plates and light meals

in a relaxed environment overflowing with beautiful country charm.

The menu boasts homegrown food sourced from local farmers and

suppliers, prepared with creativity and originality by the resident

team of chefs. Dining options are either indoors set against an

impressive handcrafted bar and large roaring fireplace, or outdoors

on the shady terrace complete with garden views

The Craven Lounge

Complete with a roaring fire place, the welcoming interior of the

lounge offers comfortable seating, plush rugs and an adornment

of interesting memorabilia on the walls.

Enjoy a relaxed evening in the Craven Lounge, boasting an extensive

selection of the finest local and international spirits, a carefully

curated wine list, and a wide range of craft beers. The gourmet

pub plates menu creates a relaxed and informal dining environment,

where guests can choose between a variety of small plates.

Inspired by old Victorian gentlemen’s clubs and officers’ messes,

the relaxed environment of the Craven Lounge makes it perfect for

informal dining.

Lanzerac Deli

The quaint Lanzerac Deli is a favourite breakfast and lunch

destination amongst both locals and tourists alike, offering the very

best in fresh and artisanal produce. Indulge in only the freshest

breads, cakes and pastries baked daily, aromatic coffees and

selection of South Africa’s finest charcuterie and cheeses used to

create flavourful sandwiches and platters. These can all be enjoyed

in the courtyard, beneath giant Oak trees or inside the cosy venue.

A range of delightful homemade jams, chutneys and sauces are also

sold by the Deli so that visitors can take home a taste of Lanzerac.

The Tasting RoomThe Lanzerac Tasting Room offers our patrons the opportunity to

explore the Estate’s range of acclaimed wines in a relaxed setting

whilst surrounded by breath-taking views of the Stellenbosch

valley. Guests are invited to enjoy a selection of tailor-made

tastings including our Premium Tasting, Heritage Tasting and Wine

& Chocolate Pairing, for individuals and groups in the comfort of

the well-appointed Tasting Room or on the veranda overlooking the

scenic vineyards.
