Dusseldorf, 25th of January 2016 Subject: Recommendation

Dear Sir, Madam, During the period of 1

st of May until 31

st of December 2015 Daniel Parlak has worked in my team,

Foodservice CCE, as a F15. In this role he reported directly towards me and also had a dotted line with the Foodservice responsible person for Germany. In the first 2 months of his rotation his project had a very clear start with setting up a strategy for Foodservice within CCE in 2020. This is exactly where Daniel really feels like a fish in the water and where his strengths are; thinking himself, networking with other markets, listening to others, manager, and making a very good story/presentation out of it. After having a sign of from the CCE management team, Daniel helped the last six months of his rotation to get the basics right in Germany. In this role he has achieved a lot together with Foodservice manager Germany: reports on the business (volume & SC), enormous improvements on delivery accuracy through forecasting, helping account managers with input for their meetings with key accounts and wholesalers. Therefore he has not only learned the sales part but also he worked very close with supply chain, finance and logistics which made him more all round. Daniel is a passionate guy with ambition and drive who makes good use of stakeholders in different markets to come up with new ideas. He will say what he thinks and doesn’t care if his audience is account management or MT of CCE, he will present his idea and does this in a clear and positive way. His learning point is to give feedback right away to people so the situation or collaboration with others can change immediately. I can easily recommend Daniel to any new department within Arla as he has a clear goal which he wants to realize. I wish Daniel all the best for the future within Arla Foods. Arla Foods B.V. Boudewijn van der Kroft Foodservice Director CCE

I am writing this letter of recommendation in support of Daniel Parlak. During the Fall 2013

academic term, Daniel was enrolled as a CEMS student in my International Joint Ventures

and Alliances course in the Master of Science in International Management Program at the

Ivey Business School in London, Canada.

This letter is being written as an unequivocal reference in support of Daniel. He is a very

bright, personable and motivated individual. I would characterize Daniel’s communication

skills as excellent. He was an extremely mature and confident student whose ideas were

routinely well thought out and clearly articulated in our case study-based learning

environment. Daniel’s written work was always well-organized and expressed both clearly

and succinctly.

Daniel advocated and substantiated his positions on issues being debated during class in a

highly professional manner. In addition to demonstrating a strong work ethic and superior

interpersonal skills, Daniel consistently conveyed respect for his colleagues’ ideas and

opinions even when they were different from his. His collaborative capabilities are amongst

the best that I have seen for someone at Daniel’s career stage. For these reasons, I believe that

Daniel holds significant potential to assume positions of leadership in a wide range of

corporate settings as his career progresses.

In short, I have great expectations for Daniel’s future and I fully anticipate that he will make

a positive and lasting contribution during his career. If you would like to speak further

regarding this reference, please do not hesitate to contact me directly ([email protected])

and we can arrange to speak further.

Yours truly,

Michael A. Sartor, J.D., M.B.A.
