How-To: Collect Signoffs
This tutorial will show you how to select a list of Signoff Readers who will be required to confirm reading a published document.
You will also see how these readers sign-off on a document, and how they view pending/signed documents.
How-To: Collect Signoffs
1) When editing a document, use this link in the Signoffs tab to select users who will be required to sign off. Your address book will open up where you can select individual users or groups. Then enter a statement/question which will be presented to the users at the time of sign-off. Once the document is published, selected users will be notified by email and requested to confirm reading the document.

2) If you are required to sign off on a document, a message/link will appear above the navigation tree once you log into the DocPublisher library. The message shows the number of documents that you need to sign off. Click on this message to display all pending documents.

6) You can always see the pending and previously signed documents by using two special document views available above the navigation tree called ‘My sign-off required’ and ‘My previous signoffs’.
What we have done: We created a sign-off list and sent out request for
read-confirmation. We signed-off on a document. We saw the special ‘My sign-off required’ and ‘My
previous signoffs’ views.
