  • SO WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP?

An apprenticeship is a real job with training so you can earn while you learn and gain recognised qualifications as you go. If you live in England, are over 16 and not in full-time education you can apply. Apprenticeships take between one and four years to complete and are completely free to you!

KEY BENEFITS: Earn a salary Get paid holidays Receive training Gain qualifications Learn job-specific skills

DO I HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING TO BECOME AN APPRENTICE?No. While you are on an apprenticeship, your employer pays you a salary and supports you as you undertake your training. Most of the training is on the job within the workplace; however the rest can be provided by a local college or by a specialist learning provider. In some cases it could all be undertaken by your employer.

If you have employment and youre a school leaver or adult of 19-24 years, an apprenticeship could be the best choice you make.
