Using Twitter.com you can take a mediocre site and turn it into a traffic

generating one. In order to do so there are several things needed. First, you need to setup

a twitter profile if you haven’t already. Once you have done so design a background for

your profile. This can be easily done through Twitbacks.com. By doing so will give

your profile a professional look and a great first impression on potential visitors. Your

next step is to get followers.

Many people have their own strategies, programs, and so on to increase their

followers on twitter but I have found great success with the following 2 strategies.

The first is the most obvious, of course, which is to go to other profiles and follow

them. However, this can be counterproductive as most people won’t follow strangers or

those they don’t share similar interests with. As a result, I have found more success using

TwitterCounter.com’s Top 100 Followed profiles’ list and scanning the first few pages to

find a profiles related to my sites’ content. Once I have done so I will take 15 minutes to

1 hour to follow as many as their followers as possible.

Note:When using this strategy I ALWAYS make sure I add followers from a profiles

“Followers” list and not the “Following” list since they are more likely to follow

me because they have already done so.

The second strategy is the lazy version of the first LOL!!! It requires the use of

the site Twollo.com.

Twollo allows users to follow twitter profiles based on keywords and/or phrases

that they have used in their tweets.

Once you are on twollo, login using your twitter username and password (Figure 1).

Then, add the keywords and/or phrases you want twollo to find followers for.

Within an hour you will start to see your following list increase as well as your followers

list (Figure 2).

After using one or both strategies you will need to wait 48 hours afterwards, at

that time, you will go to Twitter Karma to view who hasn’t become a follower. As you

did on twollo you will login using your twitter username and password (Figure 3).

Once logged in, click the “Show” dropdown box and select “Only Following” (Figure 4).

Those who have not followed you will display on the page; scroll down, click on

“Check all” button which will select all the profiles listed above and click on “Bulk

Unfollow”. Afterwards, a popup box will appear confirming that you have unfollowed

the profiles listed; click the “OK” button (Figure 5).

In addition, I will do a similar check for those profiles I’m not following but are

following me to return the favor making sure they don’t unfollow me (Figure 6).

The above steps are repeated for the next 90 days. This process has generated up

to 500 new followers per day for me. However, on average you should expect 125 – 300

new followers daily.
