FAQ

Who are you? We are a new family business with 30 years experience in guiding / tour leading and storytelling in the English and German language.

Why should I use a bike when I can take a bus? Using a bike has many advantages. You’ll travel faster and go further than on foot without having to look through a bus win-dow and miss places only accessible on foot or by bike.

Where do I get a bike and helmet? You’ll get a bike and helmet from us.

Can I use my own bike on your tours? Yes. Please make prior arrangement so we can tell you where to meet.

What languages do you speak? English and Ger-man upon request.

Why should I join a Reyk-javik Bike Tour? We like to think we offer the best guided bicycle tours in Reykjavik and are certain you’ll enjoy the ride.

What should I bring? A hat and gloves (we have some extra), warm, wind- and rainproof clothes are useful.

How many can join the tour at one time? We believe smaller is better for you. This is the reason why we limit our group size.

Do you still go if it rains? Yes! A bit of rain does not stop us from going. We are ready if you are.

How difficult are the rides? Our guests tell us they are easy to intermediate.

The best view of Reykjavik is from a bike. Join us for a ride in the city and along some of Reykjavik’s fantastic coastline.

How can I join one of your tours? Send us an Email, SMS/Text message, or phone to reserve your spot and we’ll pick you up at the City Hall by the lake in Reykjavik’s city cen-ter and bring you to the place where the tour starts.

Classic Reykjavik

From the city center to the greener parts of the city and picturesque views of the sea – you will take in some of Reykjavik’s most important sights and stories on this tour.

The route usually includes but is not limited to the following places: City center, Parliament building, Ægisida Reykjavik’s south facing beach, University of Iceland campus, Nordic house, Catholic cathedral, harbour and lake.

7 km, 2.5 hours, easy ride, cost 4.000 ISK

Available every day 15 May - 15 Oktober at 10 AM Available every day 1 June - 15 August at 7 PM

Where? We pick you up at the City Hall by the lake in Reykjavik’s city center and bring you to the place where the tour starts.

Coast at Midnight

Experience Iceland’s midnight sun from a bicycle saddle. Join us on a trip along Reykjavík’s coast which is the perfect way to spend midsummer’s night in town.

The route usually includes but is not limited to the following places: Perlan, Nautholsvik thermal beach, Seltjarnarnes peninsula and bird sanctuary, Grotta tidal island and lighthouse.
