  • 1. Safeguard neighbourhood policing As Mayor I will dedicate council tax and business rate growth to protect neighbourhood policing.

    2. Improve the emergency service response for Londoners As Mayor I will deliver a faster and more integrated emergency service response.

    3. Keep crime coming down year on year As Mayor I will support the Met Police to prevent more crime through innovation and smarter use of technology.

    4. Make London safer online As Mayor I will develop a cyber resilience plan and devote more resources to protecting Londons businesses and agencies from hackers and online criminals.

    5. Protect Londoners from emerging crime and terrorist threats As Mayor I will seek fair funding from Government for our growing capital city to maintain police and intelligence services.

  • 1. Provide more homes for the people that keep the city alive As Mayor I will build 50,000 homes for essential city workers over 4 years with many more low cost market homes to buy.

    2. Regenerate Londons most deprived areas As Mayor I will work with the boroughs to deliver 400,000 new homes over 10 years and 1,000,000 extra jobs in London.

    3. Build new lines, stations and road links that unlock growth As Mayor I will put all Mayoral funding for housing, jobs, economic development and transport into a single growth fund for London.

    4. Improve Londons air quality and green spaces As Mayor I will increase the Congestion Charge for all commercial vehicles - including buses - that fail to meet Euro 6 emission standards.

    5. Ensure all London parents have the choice of a good school for their child As Mayor I will build 20 free schools or academies by releasing surplus public land including land currently owned by the Mayors functional bodies.

  • 1. Deliver cheaper tube and bus fares year on year As Mayor I will cut tube fares and freeze bus fares year on year.

    2. Tackle congestion on our roads As Mayor I will ban freight deliveries at peak times.

    3. Increase airport capacity As Mayor I will continue to campaign for a new hub airport as the most realistic long-term solution for London.

    4. Finish the tube upgrades and improve the rail network dramatically As Mayor I will deliver the planned tube upgrades and seek responsibility for more suburban rail services.

    5. Improve the quality of the bus service As Mayor I will ensure that every bus becomes a jobs express for shift workers.
