Spring is just around the corner and this is the time we begin to see flowers bloom! Since the winter season is brisk and cold, we are looking forward to warmer weather coming our way!! When it comes to March, the things that come to mind are: Spring, flowers, St. Patrick’s Day, and the color green. St. Patrick’s Day has many symbols and traditions, such as shamrocks, leprechauns, corned beef and cabbage, pots of gold and cloverleafs. In some places people even gather for a parade! Since this year will be a little different than the usual celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our community at Crescent Oaks Memory Care is finding ways for our residents to celebrate this special day. We will entertain our community with fun music and dancing with our great performers, while practicing the social and physical distancing guidelines. Followed by the traditional meal with corned beef and cabbage, staff and residents are encouraged to find cloverleafs around the facility, similar to egg hunting, and the person who collects the most cloverleafs will get a reward. May our troubles be few, our blessings be many, and our life be merry. We are looking forward to a healthier and safer year ahead of us. Happy St. Paddy’s Day! Employee Appreciation Month This month is also Employee Appreciation Month. It is a time when companies show appreciation toward their employees for their dedication and hard work throughout the years. Our management team does this already, but during this month, it’s extra extra special. Thank you to our awesome Crescent Oaks Team!!!
