(Rev 7:1-4) And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth,

that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw

another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he

cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the

servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were

sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes

of the children of Israel.

(Rev 7:5-8) Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben

were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand.

Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of

the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of

Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve

thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

NOTES

Most people that don’t want to receive the Bible as the WORD OF GOD, make statements like “the Bible is full of contradictions

The listing of the tribes in Revelation 7 is one those places they will take you to prove their points.

There are no contradictions, only apparent contradictions.

When we see these apparent contradictions, they are God’s neon lights to draw your attention to that place.

(Deu 29:10-14) Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your

captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the

hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water: That thou shouldest enter into

covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day: That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and

that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn

unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. Neither with you only do I

make this covenant and this oath;

(Deu 29:15-21) But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by; And ye have seen their

abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:) Lest

there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth

away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; …The

LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke

against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the

LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all

the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:

Ephraim is one of the son’s of Joseph in the Old Testament, the other being Manasseh

God chose Levi to be his tribe (priestly tribe) therefore they did not receive a land lot. But received cities in the mist of the other tribes.

Since God chose them out, they were down to eleven tribes, so God split the tribe of Joseph in to 2 groups. Based on his son’s

So why did one son get into both list but not the other?

(Hos 4:17) Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.

(Hos 5:9) Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the

tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

(Hos 5:14) For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the

house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none

shall rescue him.

NOTES

In Revelation Dan is replaced by Levi.

Levi was that 13th and priestly tribe that was separated onto God

By comparing scripture with scripture there is a connection with the tribe of Dan and the Antichrist

(Gen 49:17) Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder

in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider

shall fall backward.

(Deu 33:22) And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he

shall leap from Bashan.

(Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye

shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

(1Pe 5:8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,

walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

NOTES

One of the rules to Bible study is the “law of 1st mention”

The 1st place that “cursing” is mentioned in the Bible is in connection with the tribe of Dan

(Lev 24:10) And the son of an Israelitish (Asian) woman, whose father

was an Egyptian (African), went out among the children of Israel: and this

son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

(Lev 24:11) And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they

brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of

Dan:)

(Rev 13:1) And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns,

and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

(Rev 13:2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his

mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his

seat, and great authority.

(Rev 13:5) And there was given unto him a mouth speaking

great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

(Rev 13:6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against

God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that

dwell in heaven.

Judges 17

Judges 13-16 are about a famous Judge of Israel named Sampson that is committing fornication with a harlot.

Sampson is a picture of the Laodicean Church age believer, in that fact that he was supernaturally birthed into the kingdom and give a commission and power and used it for selfish reasons Laodicean are the last church age and therefore Samson's death is a picture of the rapture
