45-minute keynote by Pieter Spinder & Jake Esman Inspirational talk about the foundation, the management and innovative approach of Knowmads Amsterdam How it started, why it started, how we do things, what are the successes and the pittfalls; what is self-directed learning and why is innovation essential in education and business

Do-Lab

Three-hour workshop (action based) with content: • Self-directed Learning • Group setting • Value-based working & learning • Brainstorm Techniques • Evaluation & Feed-forward vice versa

Why We Charge Knowmads Business School is a non-profit organisation that intends to show its students that sustainable entrepreneurship is not viable without an economical model. The school is truly innovative because it is not limited by legislative constraints – we are not accredited. This means that we are not funded and need to focus our time on what delivers real learning experiences for our students and leads to income for the school. Innovation happens on the fringes of existing systems
