Angela Erdelack, President
To Our Members: Please join me in welcoming our two newest board members: Timothy Sacko of North Coast Credit
Union and Dr. Todd Smith of Fairview Park Chiropractic Center. They will make a great addition to our board. Please plan to attend the upcoming Mayor’s Breakfast on March 13th from 7:30a-9:00a at the Gemini Center. In this newsletter you will find infor-mation about our Business Showcase. This is a great event to “Showcase” your business. Last year, we had over 450 attendees. Also, there is a discount
COUNTY PROGRAMS FOR BUSINESSES Those in attendance at the February 13th network-ing luncheon witnessed a dynamic and informative presentation by two representatives of the Cuya-hoga County government: District 1 Councilman Dave Greenspan and Director of Development Larry Benders. During the course of the presentation, Director Benders introduced a number of county programs geared toward helping local businesses launch, grow, and succeed. These programs concern everything from microloans to commercial property redevelopment, large scale attraction of new businesses and workers to training existing workers. The resources of Cuyahoga County are many, and I urge all of you to review the document outlin-ing the components of the Western Reserve Fund.

Note that the document is fairly technical and pro-vides descriptions of a large portion of, but not all, county business programs that currently exist. That is where I come in. In fulfilling my position with the City of Fairview Park, I have gained a working knowledge of county development activities and programs. Furthermore, in some instances, I serve as the municipal administrator of these programs. Please feel free to use me as a resource for technical assistance and clarification. If you have questions, please email me [email protected] or call me at 440-356-4499.
Best wishes, Matthew T. Hrubey

AT&T Opens New Location in Fairview Park
PAGE 4 VOLUME 11 , ISSUE 2
Visitors can test-drive new devices and services, including the latest 4G LTE smartphones and tablets and AT&T U-verse® TV, the fast-est growing TV provider in the U.S. Visitors participating in the store’s opening event were also provided a special opportunity to try a computer-ized texting-while-driving simulator, highlighting the
dangers of texting while behind the wheel. AT&T stores are
designed for fast service. “We are focused on making our customers’ experience exceptional, and for our retail stores that begins with a convenient location, inviting store layout and helpful, knowledgeable staff,” said Larry Evans, vice president and general manager for AT&T in Ohio. “Whether you’re shopping for per-sonal use, your business or just for fun, we’re here to help you find the right solution. Our newest retail store and our focus on the ‘It Can Wait’ campaign are the latest examples of our investment in the Cleveland area and our commitment to connecting this community with the nation’s largest 4G network.” Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday, 11:00am to 5:00pm. AT&T has more than 70 retail locations in Ohio. To find the nearest AT&T store or Device Support Center near you, visit www.att.com/find-a-store or www.att.com/dsc.
AT&T has opened a new 1,700 square-foot retail store in Fairview Park to serve the growing number of customers using and shopping for smart-phones, tablets, connected devices and advanced wire-less products and services. The new store is located at 20669 Center Ridge Road, Fairview Park, 44126 in the Westgate Shopping Center. At a grand opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony, local dignitaries collaborated with AT&T to further spread the company’s ‘It Can Wait’ message, raising awareness of the dangers of texting while driving. "Every day, my constituents rely more and more on mobile technology in communicating with others,” said State Senator Tom Patton. "AT&T's ever-growing investment in our area proves that we are succeeding in creating an economic environment that works for businesses and expands job opportunities. And, the inclusion of the ‘It Can Wait’ message serves as an important reminder that we must use this technology safely.” “AT&T’s new store will be a welcome addition to our community, bringing jobs and services for our con-sumers,” said State Representative Nan Baker. “We appreciate this company’s continued local investments in stores and employees, and their shared concern that we must change texting-while-driving behaviors to save lives.”
